Whiskey Bacon Club’s second effort for TexasLending.com is breaking this week. Titled “Pool Party,” it’s a continuation of their humorous “Get Your Own House” campaign, in which wanna-be homeowners get a little too overzealous and “borrow” someone else’s house. The spots end with a reminder that TexasLending.com is the quickest way to get a mortgage loan and get a house all of their own.
In this one, a homeowner pops in on a couple who has invaded his pool.
“Kevin Miller has been the ideal client,” explains Whiskey Bacon Club’s founder and creative director Kevin Sutton. “He knows what he wants, loves humor, and is a real champion of our work. You can’t ask for anything more than that.”
Sutton notes that this first round of two commercials for TexasLending.com was a test, and it seemed to have been a successful one. “He wanted to see if they’d work, and apparently they did. The response he got from our first commercial was overwhelming. He’s ordered up another batch of scripts and we are getting ready to shoot more spots.
“Wow, creative actually works,” Sutton added. “Go figure.”
Whiskey Bacon Club is a new creative delivery system that partners creatives, planners, directors, and editors to bring real efficiencies to the production process. A sort of bypass to the traditional agency model.
